I come to my musings from five years in filmmaking and my engagement with various forms of arts and culture. Also, I spent five years in adult education and counseling for career shifters. My in-between times were spent tree planting, traveling and teaching English as a second language. I’ve traveled to over 15 countries and trained as an energywork practitioner. Everyone’s stories are powerful. From the very personal to the collective, from the macro to the micro, from the natural to the constructed, the telling, recording and disseminating of our stories has various cathartic effects. Whether banal, exciting, sad or hilarious – these stories reveal the elaborate ways we are woven together in our everyday narratives.
Listen deeply, laugh often; collaborate; enjoy process; do not fear the blunders; strategize for sustainability; plan for positive impacts; connect with nature; renew yourself; have many teachers; hold integrity; believe in the right to decent work; enjoy art, participate.
